Accounting Assistant | DEX Imaging
The Tone:
This is an early career role at DEX Imaging. This position is designed for individuals early in their accounting journey who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a corporate accounting environment. The Accounting Assistant will provide essential support to the Corporate Accounting team, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world accounting operations and building a strong foundation for their career.

• Team: Reports directly to senior accounting leadership (Corporate Controller / Director of Accounting); individual contributor role focused on learning and skill development.
• Mission: To support the Corporate Accounting team by performing core accounting tasks and assisting with various financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Commission Processing: Review and process commission transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and prepare basic accounting schedules.
• Report Creation: Create and maintain various accounting reports for analysis and record-keeping.
• Audit Assistance: Assist with financial audits and reviews as required.
• Compliance Adherence: Follow internal controls and compliance procedures to ensure financial integrity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Requires a foundational understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience: 1–2 years of office experience, either in an administrative or accounting capacity.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles to accurately perform assigned tasks.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Analytical thinking with sound judgment for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Bonus: An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
