The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Togo’s, located in Campbell, CA. Togo’s is an iconic West Coast sandwich brand with over 140 locations across multiple states, operating a mix of company-owned and franchised restaurants. The support center team in Campbell is crucial for the brand’s operations, collaborating with franchisees and leadership. This position is vital for an early career professional looking to perform real accounting work that is visible to leadership and directly impacts the financial operations of a multi-unit franchise system.

The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Location: In-person, Campbell, CA
• Pay: $28–$33 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Controller, working closely with the CFO on a lean Finance team.
• Mission: This person will support the financial operations and reporting for a multi-unit franchise system, ensuring accuracy and providing critical data to leadership.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite ERP, Toast POS, Data Central, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Recording: Book daily bank deposits for company-owned and franchised locations, and reconcile credit card accounts and online ordering receivables.
• Month-End Support: Prepare and post payroll journal entries and accruals, and support month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations.
• Reporting & Distribution: Generate and distribute weekly royalty reports, weekly cash deposits reports, and monthly general ledger summaries to stakeholders.
• Franchisee Coordination: Prepare bounced EFT reports, coordinate follow-up on failed payments, and collect and enter current franchisee insurance certificates.
• Data Analysis: Support ad hoc Excel-based financial analysis as directed by the Controller and CFO, and prepare monthly grand opening and inventory balance reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred, with NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred. Experience in restaurant, retail, or multi-unit environments is a plus.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, detail-oriented with the ability to manage recurring deadlines independently, clear communication, and a proactive approach to work.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Toast POS and Data Central.
