This Staff Accountant position is critical for supporting the daily and monthly accounting operations of the Controllers department, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Monitor activity in Federal Reserve and other correspondent bank accounts, generating applicable recurring wire requests as needed.
• Process: Process employee expense reimbursements and credit card statements through the Concur system.
• Reconcile: Reconcile general ledger accounts and research outstanding items on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Complete: Complete monthly bank analysis entries for correspondent bank accounts.
• Record: Record affiliate deposits in QuickBooks Online for Accounts Receivable activity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required. This is an early career role, requiring general knowledge of accounting principles and sales and tax regulations.
• Experience: Preferred accounting experience and preferred banking experience.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks Online, and other related software, along with excellent research capabilities.
• Bonus: Accurate and detailed, organized, effective communicator, time efficient and deadline driven, self-directed and takes initiative.
