The Tone:

This organization is seeking to expand its finance team with a crucial new position focusing on intercompany accounting. The Corporate Intercompany Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of intercompany transactions and consolidation processes, supporting the company’s significant growth and readiness for public company reporting requirements.

• Mission: Own the management of intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency during the monthly and year-end close processes for a rapidly growing multi-entity manufacturing company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Intercompany Transactions & Eliminations: Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year-end close process.
• Support Financial Close Processes: Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance: Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.
• Facilitate Audit & Compliance Efforts: Provide comprehensive audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Contribute to ERP Implementation: Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts specifically related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes.
• Skills: Intercompany reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, financial close processes, transfer pricing, audit support, process documentation.
• Bonus: CPA license or public accounting experience; accounting experience within a multi-entity manufacturing company.
