This is a hybrid role at Solar Landscape, located in Asbury Park, NJ. Solar Landscape is the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the United States, transforming rooftops into local power plants to build new clean energy capacity and reshaping energy infrastructure across the country. The TL;DR

• Pay: $55000–$65000 yearly
• Mission: This person will own a broad range of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for a growing renewable energy company.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Microsoft BusinessCentral, Dynamics 365

What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and enter month-end and other required journal entries.
• Account Analysis: Compile and analyze account information to prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Review and reconcile monthly transactions and balances, and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare standard and ad hoc financial analyses and reports.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and compliance with internal policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to real estate or solar energy project fund accounting.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Bonus: Experience with Microsoft BusinessCentral or Dynamics 365.
