The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person Palm Beach Gardens, FL
• Team: Works within the national Capital Markets Group, collaborating with partners, managers, and senior associates on client engagements.
• Mission: This person supports clients in navigating public company audits, SEC reporting and compliance, PCAOB auditing standards, internal controls, IPO readiness, technical accounting matters, and financial reporting challenges.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Directly work with partners, managers, and senior associates on active client engagements.
• Perform: Test account balances, transactions, and internal controls as part of audit procedures.
• Prepare: Develop audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Participate: Attend client meetings and walkthroughs.
• Research: Investigate accounting and auditing guidance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, with an intention to pursue CPA licensure upon meeting eligibility requirements.
• Experience: Completion of introductory and intermediate accounting coursework is preferred.
• Skills: Strong academic performance.
• Bonus: Leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, employment, volunteer activities, or other campus involvement is a plus.
