What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Interaction: Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, answering questions and educating them on U-Haul products and services.
• Rental Operations: Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to dispatch and return equipment, prepare rental invoices, and manage inventory.
• Equipment Maintenance: Move, hook up, clean, and inspect U-Haul trucks and trailers on the lot, ensuring fluid levels are checked for optimal safety and performance.
• Technical Services: Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane tanks (certification provided upon employment).
• Operational Support: Drive a forklift (certification provided upon employment) and participate in continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a good driving record, basic customer service interaction, and equipment handling.
