What You’ll Actually Do
• Explore Departments: Actively explore a variety of departments and functions across Mercy’s healthcare system to understand their operations and interdependencies.
• Gain Exposure: Gain hands-on exposure and practical understanding in key strategic areas, including Operations Excellence, Specialty Care, Hospital/Clinics, Human Resources, Marketing, Missions and Formation, Strategic Ventures, Enterprise Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Build Leadership: Build a strong foundational understanding of leadership principles and practices through an immersive, hands-on learning experience.
• Develop Potential: Develop as an emerging leader within a mission-driven organization, preparing for future leadership roles within the healthcare system.
• Apply Talents: Identify and apply individual talents to contribute meaningfully and make a significant impact across various functions within the organization.

• Background: A recent graduate from an accredited bachelor’s degree program, seeking an early career opportunity to develop leadership capabilities.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership potential, with previous involvement in leadership roles, internships, or team-based projects.
