This is an in-person internship at HellermannTyton North America, a company operating within a manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for supporting the Finance team with core cost accounting and inventory management activities. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience, contributing directly to financial reporting and developing a broad understanding of business operations.

• Mission: Support the Finance team with cost accounting and inventory-related activities to enhance financial reporting and operational understanding.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Rolls: Prepare, maintain, and validate product cost rolls.
• Inventory Analysis: Prepare and analyze comprehensive inventory reports.
• Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing and analyzing journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Generate ad hoc financial reports and perform detailed analyses as needed.
• Capital Expenditures: Track and report on capital expenditures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, having completed at least two years of college-level coursework.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated computer proficiency with Windows-based software.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail. Above average verbal and written communication skills.
