STEP Associate (Sales/Operations Rotational Program)- Kansas City, MO | Echo Electric
The Tone:
This is a 12-month rotational program at Echo Electric, located in Kansas City, MO. Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is a leader in electrical distribution with over $1.2 billion in sales across a broad regional footprint. This program is designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals to establish their careers by providing hands-on experience in every aspect of the business. The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career Rotational Program
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person – Kansas City, MO
• Mission: To educate, train, and develop emerging professionals through dynamic, intensive rotations to establish their careers within the organization.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in core rotations covering various business functions, including Warehouse/Logistics, Inside Sales/Counter, and Projects & Quotations.
• Explore Marketing, Digital Solutions, E-Commerce, and Outside Sales, with opportunities for a Specialty Track.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of site and corporate operations, sales strategies, procurement, and project management through diverse experiences.
• Engage in team-building activities with fellow emerging professionals and experience all-expense paid travel to different company locations.
• Conclude the program by presenting key strategic organizational initiatives to the Executive Leadership team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Skills: Possess an enthusiastic and self-starter attitude, with excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Operate as a flexible and adaptable team player.
