What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with Lockton’s tax team on various hands-on projects, contributing to real-world impact.
• Client Interaction: Interact with internal clients while conducting research and preparing diverse reports, presentations, and communications.
• Problem Solving: Tackle a real-world challenge facing Lockton and the insurance industry in groups of 2-3 interns.
• Leadership Presentation: Present findings and recommendations from problem-solving initiatives directly to Lockton leadership at the end of the program.
• Business Exploration: Explore different specialty areas of Lockton’s business through presentations and networking, gaining exposure to potential career paths.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled college student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, scheduled to graduate December 2027 or May 2028.
• Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of core accounting practices and terminology.
• Skills: Possess strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical capabilities; exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
