Trinity Logistics is seeking an entry-level professional to join its Finance team, supporting essential accounting operations. • Mission: This role supports the Finance team by ensuring accurate general ledger accounts, preparing precise journal entries, and assisting with critical financial reconciliations and tax filings.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule for financial reporting.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and record journal entries for assigned General Ledger accounts, submitting them for review and approval by senior staff.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts and conduct basic account analysis to identify discrepancies.
• Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing and filing Sales/Use, Gross Receipt, and other miscellaneous taxes to ensure compliance.
• Audit Support: Support year-end financial audits by gathering requested schedules and documentation for internal and external review.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating an understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP), including debits/credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience, with familiarity in accounting software such as NetSuite or SAP, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, a paramount focus on accuracy, and the ability to communicate clearly and precisely when relaying technical accounting and finance information.
