This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting key accounting processes for the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Close Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Transaction Management: Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed, and help maintain the general ledger with accurate transaction coding.
• Reporting & Audit: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and provide necessary audit documentation.
• Issue Resolution: Research discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
• Process Enhancement: Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional.
• Experience: Preferred experience supporting general ledger, reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or month-end close activities.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bonus: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles preferred.
