Leadership Development Analyst | JM Test Systems, LLC.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at JM Test Systems, LLC., located in Baton Rouge, LA. JM Test Systems is a technical services company providing test equipment sales, calibration, and service across the United States and Canada, currently expanding through growth and acquisition. This position is part of a Leadership Development Program designed for graduating students who seek early responsibility and a clear path to leadership. The role is crucial for learning how a business operates by addressing critical needs, solving real problems, and driving strategic initiatives from the ground up.

The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy
• Mission: Deploy to areas of greatest business need to support and lead initiatives, driving performance improvements and strategic integrations across the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deploy & Lead: Deploy to the division, function, or initiative with the greatest need, supporting and then leading defined pieces of work.
• Analyze & Solve: Learn unfamiliar operations quickly, gather data, find root causes, and turn findings into actionable plans.
• Drive Initiatives: Support and take ownership of strategic initiatives such as acquisition integrations, system implementations, and new service model development.
• Build Trust: Earn credibility and build relationships with front-line technicians, supervisors, and functional partners.
• Present & Sustain: Present progress, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring improvements are sustainable after your assignment ends.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree, graduating by spring or summer 2027. Career level: Entry-Level, targeting individuals eager to learn business operations from a practical standpoint.
• Experience: Demonstrated evidence of leadership and ownership through campus activities, internships, athletics, military service, or working through school. Must relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and be willing to travel extensively, including multi-week and occasionally multi-month assignments to various JM Test Systems locations and customer sites.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; a genuine curiosity about how businesses operate; and comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Bonus: Coursework, internships, or experience in business, engineering, supply chain, finance, or operations, or exposure to technical, industrial, or field-service environments.
