Accounts Payable Analyst – Fashion | 24 Seven Talent
The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at a contemporary fashion company, located in Secaucus, NJ. Our client operates in the contemporary fashion industry. This role is crucial for supporting daily Accounts Payable activities, ensuring accurate invoice and payment processing, maintaining vendor records, and assisting with account reconciliations to uphold financial integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Vendor Records: Maintain and create vendor records within applicable accounting and financial systems.
• Corporate Cards: Review corporate card documentation and verify that required receipts and supporting materials are properly attached.
• Tax Preparation: Provide support with annual 1099 preparation and related Accounts Payable activities.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and help resolve vendor account discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
• Payment Processing: Assist with payment processing, banking-related activities, and credit card reconciliation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Core domain knowledge in Accounts Payable.
• Experience: 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment. Demonstrated understanding of invoice processing, approvals, supporting documentation, payment processing, banking activities, and credit card reconciliations.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs, and general Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and able to proactively identify and address discrepancies.
• Bonus: Familiarity with NetSuite, Concur, and/or BlueCherry. Background in the wholesale, retail, or apparel industry.
