Staff Practice Accountant (OpEx) | OneOncology

This is a full-time role at OneOncology, located in Nashville, TN, with a hybrid work schedule. • Team: Reports to the Manager of Practice Accounting within the operational accounting team.
• Mission: Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP for financial reporting.
• Tech Stack: Workday, ERP platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly close activities, including consolidations and the preparation of financial statements.
• Support the Senior Accountant and Manager by performing variance analysis and financial reviews.
• Maintain organized supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, coupled with knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience: 0-4+ years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Working knowledge of Workday or other ERP platforms, or an active CPA license or working toward a CPA license.
