What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Management Reporting: Prepare accounting reports for management.
• Internal Controls Support: Support internal controls documentation and compliance.
• Ad-hoc Assistance: Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.
• Experience: Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, along with familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Practical experience working with spreadsheets, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making. Excellent attention to detail for accuracy when analyzing data, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating effectively with colleagues. Proficiency in Excel is essential, covering spreadsheets, formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
