The TL;DR

• Team: Field Support team in Field Accounting
• Mission: Provide financial support to field operations while delivering top internal customer service across the organization.
• Tech Stack: MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Liaison: Act as a liaison between field operations and other Corporate functions such as Accounts Payable, Treasury, Capital Assets, and Payroll.
• Reporting: Assist with ensuring monthly profit and loss statements are an accurate reflection of the results of the period.
• Compliance: Ensure accounting conforms to the Group Accounting Policies and Procedures and maintains our internal controls.
• Transactions: Validate field requests and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Projects: Work on special projects as assigned.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, Entry-Level. Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting or a similar undergraduate program.
• Experience: As a rising Junior or Senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Proficient in MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Access).
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; high level of attention to detail and organization with the ability to multitask; strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of Management; proficiency regarding time and meeting target dates; ability to work under pressure given tight deadlines; quick learner, self-directed, proactive, and curious; ability to be flexible and adjust to changing factors and conditions; decisive with little or no supervision; demonstrated awareness, understanding, and skills vital to work in a diverse environment.
