What You’ll Actually Do
• Verify: Verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions across various departments.
• Audit: Conduct financial audits, meticulously documenting findings and preparing comprehensive reports based on observations.
• Report: Assist in the preparation of detailed operating reports, utilizing financial figures obtained from assigned revenue centers and other accounting areas.
• Support: Interact with and provide assistance to regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal management as part of the audit and reporting processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, coupled with strong mathematical comprehension and the ability to interpret financial documents accurately.
• Experience: Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
• Skills: Must be highly detail-oriented, possess strong mathematical proficiency, exhibit problem-solving ability, and be capable of reading and understanding all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures and completing standard reports.
