The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person – GIFT City, Gujarat, India
• Team: Leads a team of 5+ PE fund accountants and reports to onshore and offshore management.
• Mission: Ensures all private equity fund accounting activities run smoothly, deliver high-quality client service, and adhere to accounting standards.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee all private equity fund accounting activities, including journal entries, management fee calculations, expense reimbursements, investment valuations, and report preparation, ensuring high-quality service delivery for clients.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 5+ private equity fund accountants, fostering their professional development.
• Ensure proper accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets and ensure all financial transactions comply with US GAAP.
• Regularly review and test control processes to ensure the delivery of quality service to clients.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for both onshore and offshore management teams.

• Background: Associate Manager in Private Equity Fund Accounting.
• Experience: Leading and mentoring a team of private equity fund accountants; experience with US GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and internal control processes.
