The Tone:
This is a hands-on Accounting Associate role located in Fresno, CA, supporting P-R Farms and ENZO Olive Oil Company. This position is vital for the accounting department, focusing on data entry, cost accounting, and finance special projects. What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry & System Maintenance: Enter and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and data within the Famous ERP system.
• Financial Project Support: Assist with special projects related to sales and financial forecasting for business planning.
• Production Data Management: Maintain and update production workflow recipes (bills of materials) and product ID / item master records in the system.
• Cost Accounting Oversight: Monitor cost accounting activity, flag discrepancies for review, and assist with maintaining fixed and variable cost records.
• General Accounting Assistance: Support month-end close processes and other accounting tasks as assigned to ensure timely completion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an early career role requiring an Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent coursework and practical experience.
• Experience: Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, along with robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential for this role, as is the ability to work on-site in Fresno, CA.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Famous ERP or a similar food/beverage manufacturing ERP system is preferred. Familiarity with cost accounting concepts (fixed vs. variable costs, standard/product costing), or experience/coursework related to food manufacturing, agriculture, or CPG industries is a plus. Prior internship, bookkeeping, or accounting-support experience is also beneficial.
