Summer 2027 Accounting Internship | Enterprise

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Enterprise, located at our Administrative Office in Columbia, SC. Enterprise is a global leader in mobility solutions, offering real-world business, accounting, and financial training aimed at developing future Business Managers. This role is crucial as it introduces interns to all aspects of financial management necessary for running a successful business, preparing them to oversee financial operations. What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare financial statements and analyses.
• Collaborate closely with rental branches and other company departments.
• Support accounting managers by assisting with various reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including cash receipts and petty cash.
• Organize accounting schedules, filing, and perform miscellaneous administrative duties.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date of August/December 2027 or May 2028.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of basic accounting procedures and principles, including accounts payable and receivable systems, financial statement preparation, and analysis. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Bonus: Must be flexible to relocate outside the local area/state within a 1-3 year period for potential promotional opportunities. Must be available to start in May 2027 and have the availability to work full-time (40 hrs/wk) for a 10-12 week commitment.
