What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare Monthly Financial Reports for assigned clients in strict compliance with GASB accounting standards and established deadlines.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis and present findings to Directors during monthly board meetings.
• Account Management: Post deposits/receipts, reconcile bank statements for all funds monthly, and reconcile accounts receivables while ensuring accurate coding of accounts payable.
• Budget & Forecasting: Prepare annual operating budgets and develop long-term cash flow forecasts for clients.
• Payroll & Filings: Process payroll and prepare quarterly (941s) and annual filings (W-2s, W-3s, 940s, 1099s).

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, serving as an early career professional.
• Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience; relevant accounting internships are a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong written and verbal communication, detail-oriented with ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred, experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, effective public speaker and presenter, and comfortable translating financial data to non-financial audiences.
