• Mission: Provide accounting, financial, and administrative support to Project Accountants and construction project management teams.
• Tech Stack: ERP systems (preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Assist Project Accountants with daily financial and administrative support for project teams.
• Payment Processing: Process subcontractor Applications for Payment (AFPs) and coordinate daily check issuances.
• Billing Management: Prepare project billings, including cost-plus and lump sum, ensuring cash receipts are posted correctly.
• Compliance & Audits: Track subcontractor lien waivers, obtain invoice back-up for sales and use tax filings, and support project audits.
• Data Management: Set up new subcontract, vendor, and team member information, and upload weekly payroll.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum one year of finance or administrative support experience.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
• Bonus: Knowledge of ERP systems preferred, construction-related business experience a plus.
