• Mission: Contribute to multiple team engagements by understanding client businesses and performing audit procedures to identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Understand: Comprehend clients’ needs, expectations, business, industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and relevant GAAP and GAAS issues.
• Develop: Cultivate an understanding of the RSM audit approach and utilize its associated tools.
• Assess: Evaluate client risks and the structure of their internal controls.
• Perform: Execute substantive tests and tests of internal controls to pinpoint and resolve accounting or reporting discrepancies.
• Draft: Prepare financial statements following prescribed formats.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level student pursuing a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university, with an Accounting Major and 90 credit hours completed.
• Experience: Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange for reliable transportation to those locations.
• Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bonus: A minimum 3.0 GPA, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively on a team, and ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
