This is a full-time, two-year rotational program at Renewable Careers, located in New York, NY (hybrid). The company develops, builds, owns, and operates utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects across the United States. This entry-level role is crucial for developing future leaders who will carry projects from early site studies through decades of operation, providing a comprehensive understanding of the clean energy business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Membership: Work as a full member of each rotation team, with real deliverables and genuine ownership from your first week.
• Project Contribution: Contribute to live projects through analysis, modeling, applications, technical reviews, and site visits.
• Leadership Presentations: Present your work and findings to senior leadership at the close of each rotation.
• Mentorship & Learning: Learn from experienced developers, engineers, and financiers, supported by a dedicated mentor throughout the program.
• Skill Development: Develop cross-functional fluency that accelerates careers in the clean energy industry.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business, or a related field. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: 0 years of prior energy industry experience required. Authorization to work in the United States.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, comfort with data and spreadsheets, clear communication, and adaptability to new teams and problems.
• Bonus: A demonstrated interest in clean energy and the transition to a decarbonized grid, with initiative shown through internships, research, or campus involvement.
