Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) Intern – Winter 2027 – Lakeland, FL | CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Accounts: Execute accounts payable/cash disbursements, accounts receivable/cash receipts processing, and payroll processing or coordination for clients.
• Support Operations: Provide accounting function support for multiple clients.
• Reconcile Records: Complete non-complex account reconciliations for review by senior staff.
• Collaborate Internally: Work as a team member to meet the needs of office staff, principals, and clients.
• Serve Clients: Deliver excellent client service, with guidance, to help clients achieve their objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific professional experience required, but general knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data is necessary.
• Skills: Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products. Willingness to learn new technologies. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Bonus: Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
