The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Viking Electric, located in Minneapolis, MN. Viking Electric provides electrical products and services to contractors throughout the Midwest and is part of Sonepar, a global electrical distributor with over 45,000 associates. This role is for a 12-month rotational development program designed for recent college graduates. Through hands-on experience and professional development across multiple business functions, this program aims to equip individuals with the skills and relationships needed to launch a long-term career in the electrical distribution industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
• Sales & Project Management: Develop skills in counter sales, inside sales, project sales, quotations, and project management.
• Business Services: Explore various corporate functions including Human Resources, Information Technology, and Finance.
• Marketing: Participate in digital marketing and business development initiatives.
• Strategic Project: Collaborate with executive leadership on a strategic capstone project, presenting recommendations that influence business decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.0. Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building abilities. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to business challenges. Show adaptability and a willingness to learn new concepts.
• Bonus: Express an interest in pursuing a career within sales, operations, marketing, or business leadership. Be prepared for occasional travel as needed.
