This is a direct hire role at a well-established manufacturing organization, located in Fort Worth, TX, with a hybrid schedule. This position supports the financial operations of the manufacturing plant. It’s an excellent opportunity for an early career accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial information and partnering with operations to understand the story behind the numbers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support day-to-day accounting and financial activities for a manufacturing/plant operation.
• Analyze: Analyze plant expenses, production costs, inventory, and budget performance.
• Reconcile: Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Investigate: Investigate production and cost variances and communicate findings to plant leadership.
• Prepare: Prepare financial reports and analysis to support operational and management decisions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; early career accounting professional.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience; recent graduates with relevant manufacturing internships or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and general data analysis; experience with an ERP system; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Manufacturing, plant, inventory, or cost accounting experience; SAP experience; comfortable working with operational teams and explaining financial information; detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
