This role is crucial for advising clients on international employee assignments within the Tax – Global Employer Services team, contributing to their worldwide success.

• Mission: Independently manage client mandates related to international payroll and support globally active companies with all relevant questions concerning international employee assignments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Responsibility: Manage German payroll for internationally active employees of global companies.
• Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop team members, providing effective support for technical questions.
• Project Management: Ensure smooth processes regarding time and cost, and identify potentials for new client business.
• International Collaboration: Consult clients on payroll and wage tax issues through exchange with foreign Deloitte offices.
• Digital Transformation: Utilize modern AI-tools for daily tasks, identify new AI-use-cases, and develop existing work methods.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Academic degree in Law or Economics, training as a tax specialist, or a commercial education with further qualification (e.g., tax advisor exam).
• Experience: Solid experience in payroll for globally active companies or in tax advisory regarding international employee secondments/payroll, along with leadership experience.
• Skills: Excellent command of German and English in spoken and written form, enjoyment of direct and goal-oriented communication, and an interest in professional and personal development.
