What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger: Prepare adjusting journal entries, accruals, and reconcile various general ledger and bank accounts.
• Financial Transactions: Record revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions using accrual accounting principles.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of key financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.
• Asset Management: Track fixed assets and accurately record their depreciation.
• Close & Tax Support: Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes, and assist with preparing and filing taxes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: At least one year of hands-on accrual accounting experience, including assisting with preparing aspects of financial statements.
• Skills: Highly organized and deadline-oriented with strong communication skills, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Public accounting experience is a plus.
