What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Focus: Concentrate on projects involving cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization versus expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deduction.
• Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to identify and effectively resolve emerging issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of relevant tax code, regulations, and administrative pronouncements impacting clients.
• Relationship Development: Cultivate relationships with both clients and staff, actively participating in networking and business development activities.
• Documentation Support: Assist clients in ensuring the proper documentation of tax credits and deductions in accordance with IRS regulations.
• Knowledge Deepening: Expand expertise in both tax and tax consulting through exposure to diverse service lines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Experience: Demonstrated academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Completion of the necessary degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the ultimate goal of successfully obtaining a CPA license.
• Skills: Possesses strong detail-orientation, leadership qualities, problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, and analytical skills.
